The Sketching Zone project was conceived by the founders of SKETCH FEST, Isabel Seixas and Pedro Palavra, as a proposal for the Vodafone Paredes de Coura Festival, a music festival in northern Portugal. The aim was to incorporate the concept of SKETCH FEST into the festival’s camping area, creating a space dedicated to drawing workshops and interaction between artists and visitors.
The visual identity focused on expressive lines and on the importance and use of drawing as a meeting point. The design was extended to stickers, sketchbooks and a proposal for a physical space – a tent – where the workshops would take place.
