SKETCH FEST brought together, over the course of one week, 26 students from six European universities: University of Vic – ELISAVA; Köln International School of Design; Politecnico di Milano School of Design; Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw; The Glasgow School of Art and Universidade de Aveiro, in a collective artistic creation project set in the heart of the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The project was developed by Isabel Seixas and Pedro Palavra, in close collaboration with the Adega Cooperativa de Sabrosa, with the Universidade de Aveiro as the main academic partner. Under the guidance of Portuguese illustrator Mantraste, and with a watercolour session led by artist Pedro Loureiro, participants immersed themselves in an intensive week of drawing, territory exploration and shared creation.
