British Factory HouseArt Direction & Visual Identity
2026
As the designer behind the Factory House's visual identity, my work has taken on new weight since the building opened to the public in early 2026. For over two hundred years it was the private domain of British port wine merchants, a place of sealed doors and rituals like the Wednesday luncheons. Now, for the first time in its history (2026), its doors are open to everyone, and that shift called for a visual language able to honour the building's legacy while making it approachable to a completely new audience.
My role has been to shape a consistent art direction across every channel: social media, print, merchandising proposals and on-site signage, so that each one visually reflects the same story: that of a truly unique building, the last of its kind in the world, where hand-painted maps, period furniture still speak through every detail. The goal was a visual identity that feels attractive and current, while staying true to the site's authenticity and exclusivity.
